TMC prof airlifted to Dhaka for better treatment
He was airlifted to Dhaka, from Bogura, by a BAF air ambulance on Sunday
Prof Dr AKM Rownak Hossain Chowdhury of TMSS Medical College (TMC) Hospital, who is infected with the novel coronavirus, has been brought to Dhaka for better treatment.
He was airlifted to Dhaka from Bogura by an air ambulance of the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) on Sunday.
Later, he was taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital, Dhaka read an Inter-Services Public Relations press release.
BAF has been providing emergency air transport and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) assistance, in aid to the civilian power, to protect the country from the novel coronavirus and continue various activities to affirm its commitment to meet all emergency needs professionally.
The Chief of Air Staff of BAF provided necessary guidance to carry out the MEDEVAC.
