Titumir College returns JKG’s products to health department
Government Titumir College has returned Jobeda Khatun Shastha Seba's (JKG) products after the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revoked permission for the organisation to collect Covid-19 samples, set up sample collection centres and provide training.
The returned products include: Sample collection boxes, spray bottles, saline, multi plug, Personal protective equipment, soft stripe, shoe cover, head cap, electric kettle, goggles.
JKG Health Care, a sister concern of Oval Group set up 44 sample collection booths in six spots of Dhaka and Narayanganj to collect the samples from potential Covid-19 patients for free.
JKG Health Care became questionable when police, on June 23, detained five people in the capital for alleged involvement in providing Covid-19 test results without testing samples.
