Assistant Education Officer of Satkhira Sadar upazila Dulal Chandra was show-caused on Tuesday over alleged negligence in the distribution of relief.

He was performing as the tag officer in the relief distribution at Jhaudanga union of the upazila.

Debashis Chowdhury, upazila nirbahi officer of Satkhira Sadar, said, "Dulal Chandra was assigned to monitor the relief programme of Jhaudanga union. But there is proof against him that he showed negligence to perform the duty. He was absent in the relief distribution programme."
