So far 42 policemen die, 10,765 tests positive with Covid-19

10,765 police personnel have tested positive with the novel coronavirus and 42 died from the virus as of Tuesday.

Among the infected, 2,284 are from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) alone, sources at police headquarters.

Meanwhile, a total of 6,438 policemen have recovered from the virus. 

Some 11,395 police officers are in home quarantine, while 4,498 are in isolation wards.
