Sikder Medical's associate professor Fazlul Huq dies of Covid-19
He is the 29th doctor to die from the virus in the country

Dr AKM Fazlul Huq, associate professor of Ophthalmology department of capital's Z H Sikder Women's Medical College, has died from Covid-19.
"He breathed his last around 7pm on Friday in Kurmitola General Hospital's intensive care unit," Dr Rahat Anowar Chowdhury, joint secretary of the Foundation for Doctors Safety Rights and Responsibilities (FDSR) told The Business Standard.
With this, three doctors died of Covid-19 on Friday.
Dr Rahat Anowar Chowdhury said that Fazrul Huq was transferred to Kurmitola General Hospital's ICU as his health condition deteriorated on Thursday.
Dr Fazlul Huq was a freedom fighter. He used to work at the Health Ministry. He joined Z H Sikder Women's Medical College after his retirement.
As many as 29 doctors died from Covid-19 in the country so far. 5 more died with symptoms that are close to Covid-19.
