Shutdown extended till April 25

Bangladesh government has further extended the ongoing shutdown till April 25 to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a circular regarding the new holidays on Friday afternoon.
Earlier on March 23, the government initially announced general holidays till April 4 and later extended it till April 11. Later on April 5, the holidays were extended till April 14.
Vehicles of emergency services including electricity, water, gas, fire service, cleaning, telephone and internet will be out of purview of the restrictions. Besides, same order will be applicable for vehicles carrying agricultural goods, fertilizers, food, medicine and other daily essentials.
So far, a total of 27 people have died from the deadly virus in the country and 424 people have been tested positive.
