Rupayan Group distributes gift items among poor in Hatia

Rupayan Group, the country's top real estate company has distributed gift items among the students and the poor in Hatia from last Saturday to Wednesday.

Gift items were distributed among poor students of Boalia High School in Hatia Charking Union and Bangabandhu High School in Tamarddin Union under the supervision of former MP Mohammad Ali, , according to a Rupayan Group press release.

Former chairman of Hatia, Md Monir Uddin delivered the gift items on behalf of Rupayan Group in Hatia.

Jasim Uddin, president of the managing committee of Boalia High School, and Shah Kamal Uddin, assistant headmaster, distributed the gift items keeping social distance between the students. Akhter Hossain, the headmaster of Bangabandhu High School, distributed gifts among the students of his school. Advocate Sajjad, President of Hatia Bar Association and Advocate Tuhin also went to the homes of helpless poor people and delivered the gift items.

Earlier, Mahir Ali Khan, vice-chairman of Rupayan Group, donated Tk2 crore to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund on behalf of the group. In addition, Rupayan Group has so far provided food assistance to about 30,000 poor families.
