RAB’s robust patrolling activities and check posts to implement lockdown
The check posts discourage people from going outside without any reason and encourage people to use movement passes for emergencies
The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has set up check posts and is conducting robust patrolling activities across the country to implement the government's week-long lockdown for curbing spread of coronavirus from 14 April.
The executive magistrates of RAB are also conducting mobile courts beside other law enforcement teams so that people follow government's guidelines, says a press release by the RAB.
Apart from this, the RAB has been in a strict position since the morning of the first day to bar people from unnecessary gatherings in tea-stalls, roads and lanes.
The check posts discourage people from going outside without any reason and encourage people to use movement passes for emergencies.
They are directing people to wear masks and distributing leaflets to create awareness.
Bangladesh entered under strict lockdown on 14 April to tackle transmission of coronavirus.
