Public transport shutdown extended further
Bangladesh government has further extended the shutdown of public transports till April 25 amid the novel coronavirus situation in the country.
A press release of the Road Transport and Highways Division made the disclosure today.
However, vehicles of emergency services, goods, medicines, fuel, daily essentials and relief will remain out of purview of the shutdown.
Besides, the aforesaid vehicles will not be allowed to carry passengers, the release adds.
So far 30 people have died from the virus in the country and 482 got infected.
