Performing duty properly after getting Covid-19 vaccine: CJ
Addressing the lawyers, the Chief Justice said, "I was vaccinated yesterday, I came to court today, there is no problem. You too should get vaccinated.”
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain on Monday said that he was performing judicial works perfectly after taking Covid-19 vaccine.
Addressing the lawyers, the Chief Justice said, "I was vaccinated yesterday, I came to court today, there is no problem. You too should get vaccinated."
He made the remark while speaking at a hearing on a case in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, reports Jago News.
Attorney General AM Amin Uddin, the state's chief legal officer, said, "We will get the vaccine tomorrow."
Earlier on Sunday afternoon, the Chief Justice along with his wife took Covid-19 vaccines at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital in the capital.
On the same day, more than 50 judges of both the Appellate and High Court benches of the Supreme Court were vaccinated.
The nationwide Covid-19 vaccination programme kicked off on Sunday.
