People dying from Covid-19 can be buried in family graveyard

The body of those who will die from Covid-19 infection can be buried in family graveyard.
Additional Director General of Health Directorate (IEDCR) Professor Dr Nasima Sultana made the comment during a virtual briefing on Wednesday.
"The body of the deceased, who died from coronavirus infection, can be buried or burnt carefully according to their respective religious rules. After finishing all the formalities, the body can be buried in designated cemetery or family graveyard by putting it in the body bag or wrapping it in polythene," she added.
Dr Nasima Sultana also said, "No need to select any different cemetery, if any person dies of Covid-19 infection."
World Health Organization has said there is no evidence that Covid-19 spreads from the corpse.
It takes three to four hours to bury a body. The virus also dies in the body after three hours of the death. That is why, Covid-19 cannot spread from the corpse.
