MA Hashem in critical condition after contracting Covid-19
On 16 December, Hashem’s oxygen saturation level dropped and he has been breathing with high flow nasal cannula.
MA Hashem, the founding chairman of Partex Group and a former member of parliament, has tested positive for Covid-19 and his condition is deteriorating.
Hashem's son Aziz Al Kaiser, chairman of City Bank, told The Business Standard on Wednesday evening that his father is still breathing.
"We only seek all of your prayers in this crucial time. After testing positive for Covid-19, he [Hashem] was getting treatment at home till 10 December. The next day, he was admitted to Evercare Hospital. He even talked with us in a video call from the hospital," he said.

His blood pressure is also fluctuating, said sources.
