People are getting enthusiastic about vaccination as 204,540 more people were inoculated on the fifth day of the country's mass immunization drive.
Of them, 1,40,152 were male and 64,388 female, according to the Directorate General of Health Services.
However, some 86 recipients showed immediate side effects after getting the jabs.
A total of 5,42,309 people have so far been vaccinated in the country.
Bangladesh launched the mass-vaccination drive on 7 February, with an aim to inoculate 35 lakh people in the first phase.
