Navy distributes humanitarian Covid-19 aid to the destitute

Bangladesh Navy has been distributing food, financial aid and iftar to helpless and needy people in different parts of the country, including the capital city, to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.
Navy officials on Sunday provided food aid to 300 families in Bhashantek of the capital Dhaka.
They also distributed relief materials to 300 helpless families in Khalishpur Bihari Palli , 500 families in Rupsha Ghat of Khulna city, and to 200 destitute families in Labanchara of the district.
Similar relief items were also distributed to 300 families in Kathgarh, Dale Para, and Charhalda in Chattogram.
BNJ Mongla also distributed relief items to 200 distressed families in Digraj Bazar and adjoining areas. Each family received iftar and various food items including rice, pulses, sugar, oil, flour, chickpea, and salt.
Naval officers have been conducting various activities to increase social awareness across the country to deal with situations arising from the Covid-19 crisis.
The Navy will continue its humanitarian assistance program until the situation improves in the country.
