Moulvibazar to go under lockdown from 5pm today
During the lockdown, nobody will be allowed to enter or leave the district, although emergency service will continue
Moulvibazar will go under the purview of lockdown from 5pm today in an attempt to curb the spread of novel coronavirus infection in the district.
"The decision was taken at an official meeting this morning," said Najia Shirin, deputy commissioner of Moulvibazar, confirming the matter to The Business Standard.
"During the lockdown, nobody will be allowed to enter or leave the district, although emergency service will continue," she added.
