Love for Chattogram donates medical supplies to CMP-Vidyananda

Love for Chattogram, an initiative of some people who grew up in Chattogram to make healthcare in the division effective, has donated high-flow nasal canola, non-rebreather masks, N95 masks and PPE materials to CMP-Vidyananda field hospital.
Earlier, the organisation donated 10 oxygen cylinders and other medical supplies to the city's General Hospital and two high-flow nasal canola, masks and PPE to the Maternal and Child Hospital.
Founders of the organisation and the Russian consulate general in Chattogram architect Ashik Imran, Managing Director of Finlay Properties Mofakhkharul Islam Khasru, architect Faruk Ahmed, and eminent businessmen Mehtabur Rahman, Mamunur Rashid and Ataul Hakim Khasru handed over the items, said a press release on Sunday.
Chattogram Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mahabubar Rahman received the items on behalf of CMP-Vidyananda.
On the occasion, Mahbubur highly praised the people of Chattogram and said the division had managed Covid-19 well with the efforts of government, non-government organisations, individuals and private organisations.
Ashiq Imran described the participation of Love for Chattogram in the CMP-Vidyananda field hospital as a shining example of public-private partnership in difficult times.
Meanwhile, in another video message, CEO of Ocean Network Enterprise Limited Fayaz Khandaker called on the people of Chattogram to come forward in times of need.
Prominent businessman Mamunur Rashid said he hoped the efforts of friends born and raised in Chattogram to do something for the people of the division would inspire others as well.
Meanwhile, Anwarul Azim, an IT specialist living in Chattogram, Omar Chowdhury from Australia, Rafat Ibrahim from Japan, Ahmed Hafizul Imran from Australia, East Bhuiyan from New Zealand, Kulsum Alam Hossain from Bangladesh, Mohammad Mohiuddin, Mohammad Jasimuddin Riaz, Belaluddin Chowdhury, Tanbir Hossain, M Mehtabur Rahman, income tax lawyer Shaheen Dilnewaz Khan and banker Shawkat Chowdhury have expressed solidarity with the initiative of Love for Chattogram, and pledged to work for the people of the division.
Prominent lyricist Asif Iqbal, and the deputy managing director of Meghna Group, one of the founders of Love for Chattogram, congratulated them.
