‘Lighter’ will deliver food to the victims of Covid 19, if you buy ‘Atrik’
Bangladesh, as well as the whole world is struggling with the Coronavirus pandemic. Popular writers, poets and fiction writers of the present time have come forward to call for humanity in the current Corona situation.
The digital magazine 'Atrik - Eid Sankhya' has been published with the writings of a total of 83 talented writers from Bangladesh and West Bengal. Anyone can easily collect this digital magazine with a minimum donation of 50 BDT. And all the profits of this magazine will be used for the victims of Covid-19 situation by the voluntary organization Lighter Youth Foundation.
In the meantime, popular writers like Sadat Hossain, Shariful Hasan, Obaid Haque, Nazim Ud Daula, Joynal Abedin, Mahrin Ferdous, Mushfiqur Rahman Ashiq, Ishtiaq Ahmed, Mozammel Hossain Toha have written in this magazine. Popular writers like Evtosh Das, Nirmalya Sengupta, YouTuber Kiran Dutt and many others have also written from West Bengal.
Sohail Rahman and Hafizur Rahman Rick are the main initiators of the magazine, which is aimed at helping the victims in Corona. The magazine was overseen by Zakir Hossain, publisher of Bhumi Prokashon and Tahmid Rahman, publisher of Satirtho Prokashon.
The Lighter Youth Foundation is working day and night on the online marketing and fundraising of Atrik Magazine. Anyone can get the PDF version of the magazine from the Lighter Youth Foundation's website and Facebook page by donating a minimum of 50 BDT or more from anywhere in the country or outside of the country. All donations will go directly to Lighter's 'Mission Corona: Fight for Survival' event fund.

In the first two days alone, the magazine collected BDT 73,318 by selling about a thousand online copies; which is rare in the history of book reading in Bangladesh. At the first phase, Lighter Youth Foundation distributed food items among 104 families of Lama, Bandarban and Amphan affected Chuadanga. Again, 50 families of Tangail district will receive gift of daily groceries on Eid day. This way Lighter Youth Foundation will respond all over the country wherever victims of Coronavirus will be needed the support mostly.
