KSRM provides PPE to Satkania police

Steel manufacturing company KSRM has provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Satkania Police Station in Chattogram.

Mizanul Islam, the media advisor of KSRM, has recently handed over PPE to Mohammad Safiul Kabir, officer-in-charge of Satkania Police Station.

Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Abul Kalam Azad was also present there.

Mizanul Islam said Satkania upazila is the most Covid-19 prone area in Chattogram district because the people of this region are involved in the business in different parts of the country and abroad.

Satkania upazila has the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the district so far. The police are involved in various activities including a lockdown of houses of the affected patients. So, they need protection. Otherwise, the security of the area will be disrupted, he added

Considering these issues, KSRM deputy managing director Shahriar Jahan has arranged PPE for Satkania police, he said further.

"We have received assistance from KSRM in the past. In the current context, our safety is very important," Mohammad Safiul Kabir said.

To keep the law and order situation normal, it is necessary to ensure lockdown in the homes and surrounding areas of Covid-19 patients. PPE provided by KSRM will ensure our safety in this risky job during this crisis, he added.
