Some 60 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Khulna in the last 24 hours.

Vice-principal of Khulna Medical College Hospital Dr Mehedi Newaj said," Some 285 samples were tested in the hospital lab and 60 were diagnosed with Covid-19. Among the infected 42 are from Khulna, seven from Satkhira, six from Bagerhat, and one each from Jashore, Magura, Narail, Pirojpur and Panchagarh."

"Among the infected one is a doctor and four are the members of Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMC)," he added.

Khulna civil surgeon office said so far 450 people were tested positive for coronavirus in Khulna district and 59 were recovered. In Khulna division, Khulna district is at the top in terms of infection among the 10 districts.
