Judiciary sees first death from Covid-19

Mohammad Ferdous Ahmed, District and Session Judge of Lalmonirhat, died from Covid-19 on Wednesday evening. 

He is the first judge to die from Covid-19 in the country. 

"He was undergoing treatment at the capital's Combined Military Hospital (CMH)," Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Law Dr Md Rezaul Karim told The Business Standard. 

Ferdous Ahmed was diagnosed with Covid-19 on the second week of June.
