ISKCON temple locked down as 31 found coronavirus positive
Local authorities have locked down International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Temple at capital's Swamibagh on Saturday after 31 people tested positive with the novel coronavirus there.
Confirming the matter, Gendaria Police Station's Officer-in-Charge Saju Mia said, "The temple has been put under lockdown since Saturday morning after we got information about 31 people there got infected with coronavirus."
"The lockdown will continue until further notice," he added.
So far 140 have died from the deadly virus and 4,998 got infected in Bangladesh.
