Govt may stop giving first dose of vaccine from 5 April
The government is likely to stop administering the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine from 5 April.
"Vaccine committee will sit tonight to decide on the matter," Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) spokesman Dr Robed Amin told The Business Standard today.
"Second doses will be given from 8 April and vaccination will continue during the lockdown," he added.
Bangladesh has already administered over 54 lakh doses, out of 90 lakh doses, till date.
So far 68 lakh people have registered for the vaccine.
