Gonoshasthaya hands over Covid-19 testing kits to CDC
Gonoshasthaya Kendra has handed over the Covid-19 testing kit -- GR Covid-19 Dot Blot -- to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for feedback.
CDC is the leading national public health institute of the United States.
The handover ceremony was held at Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital in the capital's Dhanmondi.
Gonoshasthaya Kendra could not hand over their coronavirus testing kit to the government as no government officials were present at the handover ceremony. It will hand over kits to Director General of Drug Administration tomorrow (April 26).
"Despite the invitation, no government officials attended the programme," said Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury, founder and trustee of the Gonoshasthaya Kendra. "We will deliver the kits to all concerned government offices tomorrow," he added.
