Former DGHS director Dr Abdur passes away
Dr Abdur was admitted to the hospital one month back after having been infected with Covid-19

Dr Abdur Rahman, a former director at the Director General of Health Services died on Sunday while undergoing treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMC).
Dr Abdur was admitted to the hospital one month back after having been infected with Covid-19, said Dr Saiful Ferdous, deputy director at RMC.
The coronavirus report came negative one week ago when he had tested for the second time. Later he shifted to the cabin and was taking treatment there as he was suffering from weakness and other ailments.
Meanwhile, he was diagnosed with pneumonia infection and taken to the ICU once again where he died today.
Dr Abdur hailing from Naogaon lived in Bhadra residential area of Rajshahi along with his family. His wife Dr Ferdous Azmal and brother Rafiqul Islam also tested positive for the virus.
