Finance minister’s elder brother tests Covid-19 positive

Abdul Hamid, elder brother of Finance minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, tested positive for Covid-19 in Cumilla.

He is the president of Lalmai upazila Awami League (AL).

Confirming the matter to The Business Standard office secretary of the upazila AL Kazi Mehedi Hasan Bappi said he was diagnosed with the virus Monday night.

"Now he is under home-isolation at his residence at Jhautola area of the town. There are no other symptoms in Abdul Hamid's body except fever. Samples of his family members were taken for coronavirus tests," he added.
