Ex-DGM of Biman dies with coronavirus symptoms

Shahajan Chowdhury, former deputy general manager of Bangladesh Biman, has died with coronavirus symptoms.

He died at his residence in Dhaka Friday morning.

Shahajan Chowdhury's nephew Mehedi Masud Chowdhury, chairman of Fulsara Union Parishad, said, "As per the last wish of the deceased, his body was brought to Chougachha in Jashore from Dhaka to be buried here."

He was buried next to Durgapur Dakhil Madrasa following hygiene rules at around Friday afternoon.

Volunteers of Chaugachha voluntary blood donation organization 'Agrazatra' performed his burial.
