Ex-CSE MD Wali-ul-Maroof dies of 'Covid-19'
Wali-ul-Maroof Matin, a capital market analyst and former managing director of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), has died on Sunday.
He was the founder managing director of Maslin Capital, the first venture capital firm in the country.
Maslin Capital's Company Secretary and Compliance Officer Ashraf Hossain has confirmed The Business Standard about his death today.
Wali-ul-Maroof was admitted at Square Hospital for eight days after he tested with lung infection. Later he took regular advice of doctor. He got admitted to Labaid Hospital after he fell ill again and there he breathed his last on Sunday morning. Doctors suspected he might have contacted with coronavirus.
