Eight policemen of Airport Police Station in Dhaka, including, including the officer-in-charge and inspector (investigation) have tested positive for coronavirus.
Rafiul Alam, additional deputy commissioner of Uttara Division of Police(Airport Zone), confirmed the matter on Tuesday.
Some 2,749 police personnel have tested positive for the novel coronavirus as of Tuesday and nine have died.

Among the infected, 430 cops have recovered from the virus. Some 3,395 police officers are in home quarantine while 1,233 are in isolation wards.
