Director of DSE brokers association dies

Syed Redwanul Islam, director of DSE Brokers Association of Bangladesh (DBA) and managing director of Rasti Securities Consultant Ltd.

Syed Redwanul Islam, director of DSE Brokers Association of Bangladesh (DBA) and managing director of Rasti Securities Consultant Ltd, has died after suffering from novel coronavirus infection.

He died at 9:46 pm on Saturday at the United Hospital in Dhaka.  

He was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia symptoms on July 16, where he tested positive for Covid-19. However, the second test report turned out negative on July 20.

Later as his condition deteriorated, he was transferred to the hospital's ICU and died there while undergoing treatment.

The board of directors, including the president of DBA, have expressed profound grief over his death.
