Covid-19-free certificate not mandatory for all passengers
Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmed has said that Covid-19 negative certificate is not mandatory for all passengers going abroad.
"It is mandatory only if the destination country asks for it," he said while addressing an inter-ministerial virtual meeting on Thursday, a press release from the ministry says.
Earlier on July 12, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism has made Covid-19 negative certificates mandatory – from July 23 onwards – for Bangladeshis travelling abroad.
