Brac Bank contributes safety equipment to Rangpur City Corporation

Brac Bank has provided safety equipment that includes reusable personal protective equipment (PPE), masks, hand sanitizers, and disinfected spray machines to Rangpur City Corporation (RCC) to help ensure its personnel's safety amidst the Covid-19 pandemic in the country.

RCC Mayor Md Mostafizer Rahman and Brac Bank Managing Director and CEO Selim RF Hussain joined a virtual handover ceremony on Monday where the bank's senior officials from Rangpur handed over the safety equipment to the mayor's office.

Mostafizer Rahman said, "From the very beginning of this pandemic situation, the Rangpur City Corporation has been extremely careful in continuing its services and at the same time ensuring health and safety of the citizen and its employees. Brac Bank has always been supportive of our organisation and has extended their hands many times in the past. I am extremely delighted to receive yet another support from them and I thank them for taking the safety of our staffers in their concern".

Selim Hussain said, "As a values-driven organisation, Brac Bank has always been concerned about the health and safety of its employees and customers, especially since the coronavirus outbreak. Brac Bank and the Rangpur City Corporation go a long way back in terms of supporting the people of this region. The job that the city corporation has done so far to tackle the outbreak in Rangpur, under the leadership of its mayor, is commendable. We are encouraged by them and we are proud to be associated with their effort. It is our responsibility to support organisations that work relentlessly for the people".
