A Bangladeshi expatriate died with respiratory problem at Nasirnagar upazila in Brahmanbaria.
The 35-year-old man died at his in-laws house at Jethagram village around 9pm on Tuesday. The local administration put the house under lockdown after his death.
The deceased hailed from Purbabhag village of the upazila.
Nasirnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Nazma Ashrafi said, "The person died with problems like coronavirus symptoms. So we put his in-laws house under lockdown. The expatriate's blood sample was collected. We will get to know after getting the report whether he was suffering from coronavirus or not."
The local people and administration said, the expatriate returned from Malaysia on March 18. Then the local administration and health department sent him in home-quarantine for 14 days as he came from abroad. He got sick after finishing the quarantine period. After some diagnosis it was found out that he caught by typhoid.
