ACC director dies from coronavirus
The ACC official was diagnosed with the coronavirus on March 30

A director of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) died from the novel coronavirus today.
He passed away at Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Hopsital in the capital in the morning, sources in the anti-graft commission confirmed the matter.
Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Hospital Coordinator Dr Shihab Uddin told The Business Standard, "The ACC official was in intensive care unit of the hospital. His condition deteriorated last night and breathed his last in the morning. He was battling for life for last six days in the hospital."
However, The Business Standard could not reach any official of the IEDCR for further confirmation.
The ACC official was undergoing treatment there from March 30. His family members have been kept in quarantine. Their residence is at the Elephant road in the capital. The official belonged to 22nd BCS cadre.
So far nine people have died from the deadly virus in Bangladesh and 88 got infected.
