Three nurses of Ad-din Barrister Rafique-ul Huq Hospital at capital's Jurain area, have been tested positive with the novel coronavirus.

Confirming the matter to The Business Standard, hospital Director Dr Nahid Yeasmin said, "Twelve nurses of our hospital live together in a hostel. One of them recently visited her home at Narsingdi. Later she was found coronavirus positive. Later, we tested samples of the other nurses, who came in contact with her and found two of them are Covid-19 positive. Now they are under treatment."

"It's still not clear that the initially identified nurse got infected from Narsingdi or from any patient here," she added.

The authority decided only to keep the outdoor open instead of complete lockdown and limited all kinds of medical activities after this incident.
