111 people were tested positive in the last 24 hours by testing 211 samples

111 more tests positive for Covid-19 in Satkhira, 5 die

Some 111 people tested positive for the Covid-19 and five people died in Satkhira in the last 24 hours.

Two of them died of Covid-19 and three died of symptoms.

Manas Kumar Mandal Satkhira Medical College Hospital Corona unit chief confirmed the matter and said that "In the last 24 hours, three people died at Satkhira Medical College Hospital. One of them named Masuda was infected with coronavirus and the other two died with symptoms."

Besides, two people died in the Satkhira Sadar Hospital one died of Covid-19 in and other died with symptoms.

He further added that 111 people were tested positive in the last 24 hours by testing 211 samples.

At present 124 people are admitted in the Satkhira Medical College Hospital. Of these, 35 are Covid-19 positive and the rest are undergoing treatment with symptoms.

Jayant Kumar, spokesperson of Satkhira Civil Surgeon office said that in the last 24 hours, a total five people died in Satkhira, two died of Covid-19 and three have died with symptoms. They were treated at Sadar Hospital and Medical College Hospital.
