10-month-old baby tested Covid-19 positive in Chattogram
A 10-month-old baby girl has tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday (April 21) in Chandanaish upazila of Chattogram.

She has been the youngest case of coronavirus infection recorded, so far, in the port city.

"The child was diagnosed with Covid-19 after the Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) in Chattogram performed a virus-test on her, said Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi, civil sergeon of Chattogram.

"Among the 140 samples collected on the same day, three more people were found positive for the deadly coronavirus. All of them were from Bandarban," he added.

Till date, 40 coronavirus cases were recorded and 5 patients have died in Chattogram.
