Now, Grameenphone holds 46.37% of the country’s total mobile subscribers

The country's largest mobile operator Grameenphone's subscriber base reached an 8crore milestone in February while the country's total number of mobile subscribers stood at 17.33 crore. 

Now, Grameenphone holds 46.37% of the country's total mobile subscribers. 

On the other hand, no change has been observed in the total number of internet subscribers in February as it remains 11.27 crore, according to Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission data.  

Among other mobile operators, Robi has registered 3.9 lakh new subscribers and its subscribers' base reached 5.15 crore in February. 

At the end of January, Robi's subscribers were 5.12 crore. 

Third largest mobile operator Banglalink also received 3.6 lakh new subscribers in February and stood at 3.59 crore. 

State-owned Teletalk received only one lakh subscribers in February and its total subscriber base reached to 55lakh.
