Akash DTH offers first month free subscription with Brac Bank cards

The country's first and only legal direct-to-home satellite service provider Akash DTH offers free subscription for the first month to its new customers who will purchase the connection with Brac Bank credit or debit cards.

The offer will be valid till December 31 this year, said a press release issued on Tuesday.

In this regard, the Beximco Communications Limited and the Brac Bank Limited have recently signed an agreement at the head office of the Brac Bank in Gulshan, Dhaka.

Zia Hasan Khan, head of business planning and supply chain of the Beximco Communications, and Nazmur Rahim, head of alternate banking channels of the Brac Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

According to the deal, all Brac Bank credit and debit cardholders will enjoy free Akash DTH subscription for the first month on standard package purchases till December 31, 2019.

Any purchase through banking channel, online or EMI will enjoy this one-month free subscription.

Muhammad Abul Khair Chowdhury, head of marketing and strategic sales, Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain, business planning and supply chain, Mahbub Ur Rashid Khan, manager of payment operations, Abu Syeed, deputy manager of Payment Reconciliation from the Beximco Communications, and Siraj Siddiquey Shakil, head of digital banking and e-commerce, Sarah Anam, head of products-deposits and NFB, Sultan Mahmud Sarkar, senior manager of e-commerce and Imtiaz Khan, specialist from the Brac Bank, were also present at the agreement signing programme.
