Summit donates 5 thermal scanners to health ministry
With an aim to effectively check body temperatures of the passengers at the country's international airports, the Summit Group donated five world-class thermal scanners to the health ministry on Thursday, said a press release.
The thermal scanners would help the authorities identify the passengers with fever, which is one of the major symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19). Summit is also sponsoring two officials from Singapore to help install the thermal scanners at airports.
Mohammed Latif Khan, vice-chairman of Summit Group handed over the thermal scanners to the Health Minister Zahid Maleque at an event at the ministry.
