JCI Dhaka Uptown gets new committee
JCI is a non-profit international non-governmental organisation of young people between 18 and 40
The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka Uptown formed its executive committee board was for the year 2021 on Thursday.
The new committee was formed in its 'General Assembly (GA) and Chain Handover Ceremony' for the year 2020, where local officers took their oath as well, according to a press release.
Rezwanur Rahman has been elected as the Local President (LP) of this chapter, while Sharmina Akhter Patin has been made executive vice-president and Barrister Akif IPLP.
Other executive officers of the board are vice presidents Abrar Hussain and Mahir Rayhan, Secretary General Barrister Maruf Abir, Treasurer Rakib Mohammad Nadim, General Legal Counsel Barrister Nusrat Parveen and directors Ahmed Nabid Imtiaz and Ali Asger Zulfikar Ali.
World JCI Treasurer and FBCCI Director Senator Amzad Hussain, Bangladesh 2020 National President Sarah Kamal and several other National Governing Board members and other local chapters' elected local presidents, EVPs, mentors, past local presidents of the chapter, JCI Dhaka Uptown members and guests of the elected committee members, were also present at the event, according to the statement.
Junior Chamber International, commonly referred to as JCI, is a non-profit international non-governmental organisation of young people between 18 and 40 years of age.
It has members in about 126 countries and regional or national organisations in most of them.
