Golden Harvest Group officials will receive full benefits of Grameenphone's (GP) Internet of Things (IoT) services, under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two parties on Wednesday.

Under the agreement, Golden Harvest Group will receive full benefits of GP's 4G network coverage, after-sales service, telecom solutions, and IoT services, reads a press release.

On the occasion, Director, Business Division, GP Nasar Yousuf, said, "As a connectivity partner to Digital Bangladesh, we always opt in to provide simplified solutions to support the growth of our partners and customers."

"We are thankful to Golden Harvest Group for their confidence in our product and services. We are equally committed to delivering on customers' needs through our 4G coverage and IoT services," he added.

The agreement was signed by Nasar Yousuf, director of business division, GP, and Chief Executive Officer, Golden Harvest Group, S M Momtazul Islam.

Other senior officials from both organisations were also in attendance.

Golden Harvest Group is one of Bangladesh's leading businesses with diversified operations in food, dairy, commodity, information technology, logistics, real estate, aviation, infrastructure development, and insurance. It also has been a pioneering force in the frozen food sectors across the nation and the first organisation to develop a cold chain network in collaboration with USAID.

Grameenphone, part of the Telenor Group, is a leading telecommunications service provider in Bangladesh with more than 76 million subscribers.
