foodpanda to continue  delivery in lockdown

Online food and grocery delivery platform foodpanda will continue to serve the consumers abiding by the government's directives and standard health safety protocol during the lockdown.

All of foodpanda's services, including online food delivery, pandamart grocery service, and shops will be serving consumers while the nation remain under lockdown said a press release.

To continuing its service, foodpanda has taken safety measures to keep its community safe. In addition to ensuring that riders sanitize their hands frequently and wear masks, there is a contactless delivery option for customers to avoid interaction with the rider when advanced payment is made digitally.

It is to be mentioned that the lockdown protocols have allowed restaurants to keep their kitchens open and continue takeaway and home-delivery services so that businesses can survive and consumers can get food delivered while they remain safe at home. Alongside food delivery, foodpanda will continue to deliver groceries, medicine and other essentials which can be ordered online through its 'shops' section or pandamart.

So whenever consumers want a meal from their favourite restaurant or needs any grocery item or baby food or diaper, all they have to do is open the foodpanda app and order their desired items online.
