First Bangladesh Smart City Expo and Conference to begin on November 28
IoT, ICT device; smart payment, energy, construction, water and waste management, transport, technology, and communication will be featured
The first "Bangladesh Smart City Expo" is expected to begin on November 28 at Dhaka's International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).
The announcement was made at a press conference organised by RedCarpet365 Ltd on Saturday at Dhaka's Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) auditorium.
The exhibition will feature what a smart city needs including the Internet of Things (IoT), ICT device, smart payment, energy, construction, water and waste management, transport, technology, and communication.
Seminars and panel discussions will be arranged on the above topics for the stakeholders, investors, technical people, students who will lead the sustainable urbanisation.
The press conference was led by Fatematuj Johra, director marketing of Redcarpet365 Ltd along with Ahmed Imtiaz, chief executive officer of the same organisation.
Dhaka North City Corporation Mayor Atiqul Islam gave his consent to inaugurate the exhibition.
