BAT Bangladesh has received 'Top Employers Bangladesh' and 'Top Employers Asia Pacific certification-2021' for its excellence in employee conditions and its contribution towards enriching the world of work.

Till date, BAT Bangladesh remains the only company in Bangladesh to receive this award third time in a row, reads a press release.

This places the company amongst a group of prestigious companies from 119 countries and regions across the world.

The Top Employers Institute is the global authority recognising excellence in people practices. Employers with the best-in-class employment practices are recognised by the certification.

BAT Bangladesh was first certified as a 'Top Employer' in 2019, and followed suit the next two consecutive years 2020 and 2021 in a row.

The prestigious certification is a testament to the company's execution of remarkable HR best practices and policies in 400 benchmark practices within six domains of competence focusing on aspects like:  Strategies, the role of (Executive) Management, Employee Involvement, Training, Communication, Measurement and the use of (HR) Technology.

"We keep our people at the heart of this organisation and being certified as the top employer three times in a row only ratifies our high focus on people practices," said Saad Jashim, Head of Human Resources, BAT Bangladesh.

"We are very proud of this accolade as it further encourages us to keep setting new benchmarks not just within the company but also on a national and global level," he added.
