Marking the 21st founding anniversary, Bank Asia has taken an initiative to plant around 20,000 saplings across the country through its vast network of branches and agent outlets.

Md Arfan Ali, president and managing director of the bank, inaugurated the tree plantation programme in front of Beraid Bazar Agent Outlet of the bank in Badda area of the capital on 28 November, reads a media statement.

Deputy managing directors of the private lender Mohammad Borhanuddin and Md Alamgir Hossain, Head of channel banking Sarder Akhter Hamed and other high officials were present on the occasion, it added.
