Banglalink to distribute relief among 14,500 households in association with Sena Kalyan Sangstha and Army

Banglalink will distribute relief among 14,500 affected households amid the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak in the country. The relief will be distributed in association with Bangladesh Sena Kalyan Sangstha and Bangladesh Army.

Each beneficiary will receive 5 kg rice, 1 kg pulse, 1-liter oil, 0.5 kg semolina, 1 kg sugar, 1 kg salt and 2 bars of soap from Banglalink.

Mustafa Jabbar, Honorable Minister, Post & Telecommunication Division, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh said "Along with providing millions of people with uninterrupted telecom services during this period, Banglalink has come forward to support the most severely affected communities in the country. All the measures Banglalink has taken since the beginning of the outbreak are really praiseworthy. I hope they will continue to serve the people this way in future as well."

Major General Sajjadul Haque, BSP, SUP, afwc, psc., Chairman, Sena Kalyan Sangstha said "We are really pleased to see Banglalink's commitment to serving the people of this country in this critical time. The disadvantaged communities need our supports to overcome the present crisis and get back to the normal course of life. I firmly believe that through such collaborative efforts we will be able to tackle the prevailing challenges successfully."

Erik Aas, Chief Executive Officer, Banglalink said, "In view of the economic repercussions of the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak, we have come forward to extend our helping hand towards the communities. As a socially responsible corporate organization, it is our responsibility to make efforts for ensuring their social security in this difficult time. I would like to thank Bangladesh Sena Kalyan Shangstha and Bangladesh Army for being with us in this initiative, and hope that all of us stay safe and get out of the crisis together."

In addition to distributing the relief, Banglalink has taken several initiatives to combat the Covid-19 crisis in the country.
