Agrani Bank has approved Beximco Limited's proposal to underwrite Green Sukuk Bonds worth Tk100 crore during the 78th board meeting of Agrani Equity and Investment Limited.

Agrani Equity and Investment Limited, a subsidiary of Agrani Bank Limited, was held on Wednesday through video conferencing to keep the capital market-related economy afloat.

Chairman of the Bank Dr Zayed Bakht presided over the meeting, said an Agrani Bank press release.

Among others, Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Shams-ul Islam, Deputy Secretary to the Ministry of Finance Md Jehad Uddin, Directors of Agrani Bank KMN Manjurul Haque Lablu, AKM Delwar Hossain FCMA, Nasir Uddin Ahmed, CEO (current responsibilities) of Agrani Equity and Investment Ltd Arundhati Mandal and Company Secretary Md Tariqul Islam attended the meeting virtually.

The meeting discussed and decided to expedite the activities of Agrani Equity and Investment Limited.
