White team wins Journalists friendly football match in Chattogram

The white team has won the friendly football match, organised by journalists in Chattogram to mark the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the golden jubilee of country's independence.

The white team defeated Akashi team 1-0 in the match held at the MA Aziz Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. White team journalist Subal Baruya scored the only one goal in the match.

Chattogram City Corporation Former Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin distributed the prize among the players as the chief guest, while no.29 ward Councilor Ziaul Haque Sumon was present as the special guest.

Chattogram Press Club General Secretary Chowdhury Farid presided over the programme while Journalist Md Faruk coordinated it.

Among others, Chattogram Press Club Joint Secretary Nazrul Islam, Ward Councilor Hasan Murad Biplob, Sports Secretary Debashis Baruya Debu were present at the programme.
