'Vehicle of Bangladesh’ event announced to present Bangabandhu before world
An initial announcement of the "Vehicle of Bangladesh - North Cape to National Martyrs Monument" programme has initially been announced.
The programme will start in September in Norway, organisers of the event said on Thursday. It will highlight the country and Bangabandhu in 50 countries of the world.
Stockholm University student Kazi Chayan and the programme's chief coordinator and planning advisor and senior journalist Kazi Azizul Islam discussed various aspects of the even at a press conference at national press club.
They said the tradition, culture, tourism, economic and social progress, trade and business, and investment possibilities as well as versatile identities of Bangladesh and possibilities will be presented at the event.
It will focus on the history of the Liberation War and the life of Bangabandhu. The programme planner Engineer Matiur Rahman Riyad and Daily Finland Editor Ofiul Hanat attend the press conference from Finland via videoconferencing.
