Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operatives is working with the ICT ministry to implement the pilot project of the digital municipality services in one City Corporation and nine municipalities.

Joy further said through this pilot project, five citizen services will be provided to more than 20 lakh citizens and government has planned to implement the project to 300 municipalities within 2020.
